Naming of the Krubera Cave
"Cave Voronja" means "Cave of Crow" in Russian. This name is used as a slang name by cave experts 'Kiev' in 1980 due to a number of crows nesting in holes of this cave entrance. The original name "Krubera" has been officially named to the cave by caveexperts from Georgia who had explored this cave entrance hole in1960. Cave name was given after Alexander Kruber accept the title as Russia's geographic. And of course after Kruber receive such title. Her name was a priority for this cave.
